What are those damn excerpts?

TL;DR – They will be future chapters, but there is a twist

I don’t intend to keep my emerging novel close to my chest. I have several goals with this project, including finding like-minded people and sparking a debate about future Alien storylines. The main goal is to enlighten the public about this unusual cooperation, where AI (mainly Jenny, also known as ChatGPT) provides me with feedback on my writing, and I modify the text accordingly.

For this reason, I plan to turn these excerpts into regular chapters in the final version of the novel. However, it is not simply this way: excerpt = future chapter. The final text (which will be freely available) will look different (a lot in some cases). I have created quite a “dense” (Jenny’s evaluation) plot that will need some pruning. Moreover, I will get additional ideas about the novel over time, which will also find their way into the final version of my book.

Those excerpts are therefore more like a “penultimate” version of the text. I promise I’m already taking great care of making the story as appealing as possible. I have no commercial interest in keeping this project secret. I can’t and won’t make any money on it (though I wouldn’t resist if it brings me some paid creative opportunities elsewhere, to be honest 😊 ). So, why should I have all the fun (as Heath Ledger’s Joker would say)?

Have fun in the meantime and get ready for an even better text in a few months.
